No, the need was more than there, but there wasn't a defined person to do
it. I just wrote the job description down and submitted it, as networking
wasn't going to keep students around any more. I figured it was try to make
a job doing what I loved and could learn at, or go fill paper in the labs.
So I got it signed off on and poof it existed.
As I understand it, various people did much of what I did and Neil now does.
You were around and I know you did quite a bit, but never knew exactly what
that was. Did you do security-type-things? cya!
